I’ve shared before about my love for making chili. It’s the easiest thing to throw together, and the easiest thing to not mess up. You can throw it in a ball jar (or four), take it camping and it makes a really great make ahead meal!

Chili is also often my go-to meal when having a large party. It’s easy to make a couple different kinds, and serve with different breads, cheeses, and crackers. You can even throw all of this in the crock pot and let it go all day while working and come home to a perfectly cooked meal.

Enjoy!

Two cans chopped tomatoes
Two cans chili beans (not drained)
One Green Pepper, chopped
One Onion, chopped
One to one and a half pounds of ground beef, cooked and strained. (Beef can be substituted with both turkey burger or venison and both are great in it!)
Chili Powder
Salt and Pepper
Tabasco Sauce (as many shakes as you like, depending on how much you like it hot!)
Cumin (dash)

This can definitely be doubled if you want to make more chili.

Throw it all in the pot, stir, simmer, add spices as needed. I use a lot of chili powder. I never actually measure. Just make sure it tastes chili-ish and not just like tomatoes. If it needs more, add more! Easy-peasy.
