Happy New Year Friends!
I hope everyone is enjoying the start to their new year! I don’t like to make New Years Resolutions, I like to make New Years Plans! At the beginning of the year I like to sit down and plan fun adventures.
Michigan has great resources for camping in State and National parks, however, I’ve come across a few websites that I really love and wanted to share with you so you can start planning for the year! There are so many fun places in the mitten to camp, stay in a cabin, or adventure!
Check these out:
Hipcamp is a site that showcases not only public campgrounds, but private land as well! It’s kind of like Airbnb for land owners! How neat. I’ve already seen a couple of interesting places on here that I didn’t even know were in Michigan.
Speaking of Airbnb– Check it out! Airbnb has been one of my favorite things on the interwebs. Seriously. We did a few travels last year and had great success with it. If you are looking for something a little different than a hotel room, you can likely find something here! Next week we are staying in an Airbnb in Escanaba, and I can’t wait!
The last one I want to share with you, that is easy to lose hours of your life to is Glampinghub. This one is addictive. It’s like pinterest for travel. There are so many neat places to stay on Glamping hub. What is glamping you ask? Glamorous camping! Types of listings include cabins, tents, yurts and even tree houses! So so cool. Who knew you could find places to stay like this all over the state, country, and world! The opportunities here are really endless.
